Accessories & control technology

Accessories and control technology for electric actuators

Many Agromatic actuators can be equipped with mechanical options, position controllers, analog position feedback and digital interfaces. This allows flexible integration into customer PLC, process control and automation systems.

Actuators controlled directly via PLC with IO-Link signal technology

Modular system

Cross-product accessory groups and equipment options

The following options can be combined depending on series, operating environment and requirement. For Ex versions, we check the admissible configuration on a project-specific basis.

Control

Position controllers

Electronic position controllers for positioning Agromatic actuators according to an external setpoint.

Feedback

Position feedback / angle sensors

Potentiometers, Hall-effect absolute encoders and current outputs for position evaluation and feedback to customer control systems.

End positions

Auxiliary limit switches and cams

Auxiliary switches and switching/adjusting cams for end positions, intermediate positions and mechanically defined feedback points.

Signals

IO-Link / digital signal technology

Digital signal technology for modern automation concepts with parameterization, feedback and diagnostics.

Applicable to many series

For rotary, part-turn and linear actuators

Control, feedback and interfaces are not limited to a single product family. Depending on the requirement, rotary, part-turn, linear and Ex actuators can be equipped accordingly.

  • Rotary and part-turn actuators
  • Linear actuators
  • ATEX / IECEx versions after technical review
  • Custom solutions and customer-specific variants

Specification

Which details help with selection?

For the appropriate version, we need the required control mode, the available control signal, feedback requirements, voltage, protection class, installation situation and ambient conditions.

  • Setpoint: 4–20 mA, Modbus, IO-Link or switching commands
  • Actual value: 4–20 mA, resistance signal or digital feedback
  • End positions, intermediate positions or continuous position
  • Environment: industry, Ex zone, temperature, vibration
